Beavs were never in the game.. Rumor around here in Corvallis is.. Quizz and James pretty much don't like most of the team, tired of carrying the rest of the team.... Quizz has said publicly, that the team needed to step up ( this was 2 weeks ago ) after this weeks loss, he said, he has never wanted to cry so much, after a game, and that he loves the feelign of winning--wished the others felt the same way... Riley has lost the team... and will not win another game this year,.. no bowl.. this team is stacked with O talent and a wicked d player, many compared to Suh... I have said it many times..,. Beaver fans, donors... everyone associated with the team need to accept that Riley, will have a ho-hum result but a decently clean team.... to recruit and win.. compete for BCS each year you need a gambler or a coach that will ruffle some feathers when it comes to personnel.... Tom O ( Lawrence Phillips) Barry Switzer ( too many players to count) Chip K @ Oregon... Oregon State cant have it both ways...a nice coach who smiles and never pushes refs and others around from time to time or a coach with some fire... that pisses people off, but makes donors happy...donors want results... moms and dads of kids want to know if their kids go to a school that the sacrifices their kids body makes to a team are worth it... I hear many times locally, that Quizz and James feel like they have been used and abused... I know that they get a free ride at school... but it is a joke compared to what $$ they bring to the school in TV $$, Bowl $$ and apparel sales... I have respect for riley, he is a nice guy with a clean program... but even with the talent he has... if he does not go to a bowl at all this year... their needs to be at least a change in philosphy at a minimum... Just like if you are a Director of Sales, with a nice guy salesman, you give a great prospect list to..and a company car and all of the tools to produce.... that does not produce $$$ what do you do??
